55: Never Trust Anyone Over 30
WWhen I was a teenager, there was a saying that we should not trust anyone over the age of thirty and it turns out we were right, but alas, what we did not know is that we were referring to ourselves.
Our generation dropped the ball as we got older and went from wanting peace, love, kindness, and human rights for all to becoming self-centred, selfish individuals. Not all of us, of course, but too many, so obviously the changes we needed to make as a whole have not happened and here we are... Mother Nature gives us a virus to try to thwack us on the head and make us realize we are all human and in jeopardy.
We are wrecking her planet but it will survive without us. Earth was here before us and will be here after us. If we don't help all of the species in the world to survive and thrive, the Earth will just shrug and move on and won't miss life as we know it.
