Artist Statement

This short play is my attempt to capture two people doing their best to hold onto their relatively new relationship, and the tension of... not being able to experience every piece of it. How will relationships function amid COVID-19? Is FaceTime and texting really enough? How long can they last at a distance, especially in the middle of so much uncertainty and trauma?
