Artist Statement

My name is Chase (they/them). I am a queer, nonbinary Chinese-Canadian storyteller in theatre, movement, and text. My work aims to present and center ‘diasporic queer’ narratives through... an intersectional lens. I am interested in the complexities of intergenerational relationships and marginalization. At its core, my stories draw from the desire and search for connection, community, and vulnerability.
