Artist Statement

Dear Cathy, Patron of the Arts,

I was deeply moved by your love story in a COVID-19 Confession. Thank you for sharing. I believe that everything happens for a reason... and that numerology has its unique rhythm. You asked me to reflect on the idea of “One day at a time”. I had lots of fun making this piece in under 24 hours.

The “stay at home” lifestyle makes me unsure of what day of the week I‘m in. So I chose to portray a week, hence – seven images. Each one is a representation of a numerological beauty of your relationship, adorned with the loving heart at the top. I wish for your special connection to continue to grow, one day at a time.
