Artist Statement

I just lost my Mom in October and have thought this very same thing. She was an Emergency Nurse and would have been on the front lines if... she was still working. My Dad was a carpenter who has been gone for 38 years now.
So that statement really resonated with me and this song is an ode to them.

I made a quick recording just so you'll know the tune. I am not a piano player, so please try to ignore the plunking in the background, it was supposed to help keep me on track, without an accompanist.
