Artist Statement

"I’m not sure what genre this piece of art belongs to. I want to call it a “found-sound symphony.” However, it being less the length of a symphony and more the length of a pop song, I should probably call it..., “found-sound-doo-wop,” as in, here’s a little found-sound-doo-wop number I like to call “mm-hm-MM-hm,” by a new band no one really agreed to be a part of—Tara and the Confessors!

This is a piece that meditates on connection and division, love and fear, nearness and distance. It plays the idea-chords that resonated with me amongst the confessions I read and listened to. I hope they resonate with you."
